Abstract
Digital age has brought about the convergence of technology and art creating new wide scale possibilities of artistic creativity thus redefining how art is created, shared and enjoyed. The article gets deep into the interaction between the two spheres, stressing on the fact that technological advances not only have dramatically broadened the scope of conventional artistic forms but also gave way to new genres, which did not exist before. Technology has also democratized the creative process, as digital painting and AI-created art, as well as immersive virtual reality experiences, are now available to everyone despite his or her technical savvy and the physical location he or she resides in.
In the paper, the historical trend of this convergence has been discussed in terms of the progress of early tools, such as the camera obscura, and better known current artificial intelligence, and how each new technological advance has transformed the art forms. The emergence of new trends, especially non-fungible tokens (NFTs), interactive installations, and collaborative online platforms, proves the potential levels of change that such partnerships can bring. Meanwhile, issues like the issues of authorship, originality, and a right to access are problematic in terms of ethics.
This paper provides a thorough explanation of how collaboration of art and technology is redefining creativity, though due to the modern practices, case studies, and its projections in the future. Finally, it makes the case of how this intersection has the possible potential to promote innovation, inclusivity and a wider understanding of art within an increasingly digital era.
