ARTICLE SUMMARY
Abstract
This article uses a simulated longitudinal community panel to examine how the convergence of intelligent technology, health capability and social trust may shape well-being over time. The synthetic dataset contains 120 illustrative communities observed annually from 2022 to 2026 (600 community-year records). Unlike a one-time survey design, the analysis compares five-year trajectories across baseline convergence quartiles. Simulated well-being increased from 3.23 in 2022 to 3.64 in 2026. In the adjusted panel model, technology-health convergence, health access and social trust were each positively associated with well-being. The highest-convergence quartile reached a 2026 mean well-being score of 3.95, compared with 3.43 in the lowest quartile. All values are synthetic and are not population estimates. The demonstration shows how intelligent futures can be studied as a dynamic interaction among technical capability, health systems and societal trust rather than as a static technology-adoption problem.
